From Hooved Animal Rescue of Thurston County –
Hooved Animal Rescue of Thurston County (HAR-OTC) has programs to help financially strapped Thurston County citizens whose hooved animals need emergency veterinarian or farrier care.
HAR-OTC also has funds to provide humane euthanasia when recommended by a veterinarian.
These programs are so important, especially in this distressed economy.
Would you like to donate cash or supplies to help these wonderful folks do all of this hard work? There are several ways you can help them–check out their website page about how to donate to this worthy non-profit. They participate in the Fred Meyer Community Rewards, AmazonSmile, and the State Employees Combined Fund Drive.
Emergency Resource Grant –
This program provides funds to assist animal owners who need help with emergency farrier or veterinary care. Owners and their animals must reside within Thurston County. Amount of assistance is on a per case basis and funds are limited. Owners are required to fill out an application that will be reviewed by the Board and then decisions on assistance will be made. This can be done quickly in the case of an emergency.
End of the Trail Fund –
